The LGBT Center hosted a captivating panel featuring women of all years and various backgrounds to speak about their experiences while attending Penn—perfectly aligned with the Climbing Vines mission.

Prior to the start of the event, and following the completion of the panel, Janay and Arielle were able to share information with attendees about Climbing Vines and the podcast launch.

On Sunday, October 30, Makuu (Penn’s black cultural center), Sister Sister (a support group for women of color) and the Black Alumni Society hosted a homecoming brunch showcasing the short stories featured in the Climbing Vines collection, as well as the Penn alumna who wrote them.
